The only mention of Isaac’s death
in the local paper came as a
caption to a photograph which
simply gave his name, that he
lived in Windhill and was killed in
action,

website gives us his date of dying,
rank, regiment and age of dying.
We also learn there that his name
is among the thousands with no
known grave listed on the Thiepval
Memorial
