Willie Mortimer
Pte William Mortimer, West Yorks Regt, second son
of Mr and Mrs Mortimer of 50 Barrett Street,
Shipley, and who has been wounded twice, is
reported missing since 27th May.
Now 22 years of age, he enlisted in January 1915
and went to the front a year later.
He worked at Butterfield’s Tank Works,
Woodbottom.
His brother, Pte Ben Mortimer, West Yorks Regt,
has had trench feet twice and is now at the front
again.
Any information concerning Pte W Mortimer, will
be gladly received by his parents.
