Edwin Amos Thomas
In 1911 Edwin was living with his widowed mother, Florence, and his
brother Frank at the home of his uncle, Amos Parsons.
On 16 March 1916, the Shipley Times & Express reported:
Edwin Amos Thomas, 23 years of age, second son of Mrs Thomas and
nephew of Mr A Parsons, stationmaster, of Craiglands, Otley Road,
Shipley, has been killed in action in Mesopotamia.
Before joining the colours he was employed by the Midland Railway
Company and was stationed at Holbeck.
