Charles Arthur Watson
Sgt Major C A Watson of Baildon and the 1st Pals is reported to have been
killed in action in the great advance.
He was previously in KRRC and went through the South African
campaign and was one of the besieged at Ladysmith.
Previous to the war Sgt Major Watson was employed at the Bradford Post
Office. He was a well-known member of the Baildon Golf Club.
